I’ve always believed that the best moments in life aren’t the ones we carefully plan or perfectly pose. They’re the unscripted, split-second fragments of time where people are just being entirely, beautifully themselves.

That’s exactly what drove me to start Light and Shadow Photography.

My approach to photography is pretty simple: I’m a storyteller at heart. I prefer to step back, let the energy and vibe of a scene unfold naturally, and capture the real emotion of the moment. Whether it's the quiet warmth of a glance, a sudden burst of laughter, or the way the natural light hits a room, I’m there to freeze it in time.

When you look back at your photos, I don't just want you to remember what you looked like. I want you to remember exactly how it felt to be there.

  • Music is my second language: When I don’t have a camera in my hand, I usually have a guitar or a bass in it. Writing and recording indie rock music is my ultimate creative outlet.

  • Powered by tacos: If I am not scouting locations or finishing up a great session, there is a 100% chance I am tracking down where to get the nearest taco afterward.

  • Chasing the great outdoors: Whether I'm out cycling, taking a quiet nature walk, or camping out anywhere from the mountain peaks to the beach, I'm happiest when I'm outside in the fresh air.

  • Family first: My favorite place to be is surrounded by my family. My absolute best days are spent just hanging out and enjoying life with my wife and son.

  • The real bosses: My editing workflow is officially supervised by my two cats, Gizmo and Merlin. (And yes, they are named exactly after who you think they are).
